Japanese Developers Android Arrested For Injecting Malware Into The Application - Japanese police arrested five mobile application developers for creating and implanting a virus to a smartphone application creation. When the application is downloaded and activated, it sends personal data automatically. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment or a fine of ¥ 500,000. Creating viruses for computers and smartphones is a serious crime under the Criminal Code revision enacted in July.
